1. Before starting transportation, the holder of the TIR certificate needs to submit the electronic data of the TIR certificate to the customs through the TIR electronic pre declaration system. After receiving feedback from customs, the certificate holder fills out the TIR certificate as required and prepares for transportation.
2. After the TIR transport vehicle is operated by the customs at the place of origin and arrives at the customs supervision operation site, the holder of the certificate needs to submit the TIR certificate and vehicle approval certificate to the customs. After the customs at the place of origin verifies that the relevant materials are correct, the goods are inspected and sealed by the customs. After completing the procedures, the customs will make the corresponding endorsement on the TIR certificate, and the vehicle can depart.
3. Exit and Transit Operations Exit Operations: When the TIR transport vehicle arrives at the exit port of the country of origin, the exit customs inspects the integrity of the seal and signs the operation on the TIR certificate. After confirming the accuracy, the vehicle departs and enters the next country. Transit country operation: In each transit country, customs will verify the vehicle's seal and sign on the TIR certificate. Due to the mutual recognition mechanism of the TIR system, customs in transit countries usually do not open boxes to inspect goods, and transportation can be cleared quickly, saving a lot of time.
4. Destination Customs Operation: After the TIR transport vehicle arrives in the destination country, the destination customs need to check the integrity of the customs seal and ensure that the goods are correct, and verify the information on the TIR certificate. After the customs completes the relevant TIR transportation customs procedures, this TIR transportation will end.
